Sarah Stevens
Sarah Stevens qualified as an osteopath in 1997 after completing a four-year osteopathy degree at the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, Kent. Sarah is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy (iO) and the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). She has continued to study and train, joining the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy. This is a post-graduate college where she has completed all the 9 modules on their learning pathway, becoming a fellow of the college. Sarah is now a teacher of the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy. She specialises in teaching the organs and systems module. This teaches students how to treat the organs of the body and how they all work together. Sarah has a special interest in this area and loves to be challenged by complex cases. Abigail Smithson
Abigail was awarded a 1st class Masters degree in Osteopathy from Leeds Beckett University in 2015. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. After completing her degree Abi moved back to Gloucestershire where she had first discovered osteopathy 7 years previously as an avid performing artist suffering from a lower back injury. Since beginning her studies in 2011, Abi has worked with many individuals of differing ages and physical abilities, using her very effective communication skills and professional knowledge gained to successfully treat a wide range of musculoskeletal complaints. Abi is always endeavouring to widen her professional knowledge and skill set through the completion of professional courses as part of a process of continuous professional development and has recently completed courses in post-partum treatment, electrotherapy and is now certified in Rock Tape application. She looks forward to increasing her skill set further during her career as an osteopath.
Jonathan Lawrence
Jonathan graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 1985. He practices a wide range of techniques from spinal and soft tissue manipulation to cranial techniques suitable for treating babies and children. His experience includes working with a professional football club (Maidstone United), professional dancers (Pineapple Dance Studios) and supporting patients with ME in North Devon.
He has run a very successful practice in North Devon for 20 years and has recently moved to Cheltenham to be closer to his family.
Jonathan has done extensive osteopathic postgraduate training in osteopathic techniques. He has taught undergraduates and currently teaches postgraduate courses for practitioners. He has written extensively for professional journals.
Jonathan is also qualified in Homotoxicology, a modern form of homeopathy.
He is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. He is also a member of the Society of Homotoxicology and Anti-Homotoxic Therapy GB.
